What's your take on the role of social media in shaping society? Do you see it as a force for good or otherwise?
I feel as though there are 2 sides of social media. I do believe that there is a side where it promotes the good side of people and helping shape society in a positive ways, whereas there is the other side where it promotes the bad side of humanity. The whole cancel culture has especially shaped society not in a good way.
What's the most underrated aspect of sociology that more people should appreciate?
Sociology's underrated role is in building empathy and understanding among people by revealing how social forces shape our lives and allowing us to appreciate diverse experiences and perspectives.
Ever found yourself analysing social dynamics in everyday situations, like a family get together or a night out with a friend?
Yes, when I have large family/friend gatherings I feel myself sitting there and analysing the situation.

Once it comes to politics, there are some people that get very passionate about it and it gets very heated.
